I am a graphic designer (of annual reports, Japanese corporations) as well as a keen illustrator and photographer. Living in Japan since 1999 - presently operating from my wife’s hometown of Fukuoka, which has all the regular traditional Japanese features as well as great mountains and beaches. I spend a lot of time uploading imagery to iStockphoto.com. Having been a contributor since 2004, it is a hard habit to break - providing a perfect platform from which to broadcast my stuff to Ad agencies and the public at large. I also designed their logo. Recently I have been approached by ‘The Washington Post’ and ‘Vectuts’ to provide them with responses to questions about my images, specifically the original ‘Twitter bird’ which they purchased from iStockphoto.com. These articles have been linked to from the top of my Homepage: http://www.idokungfoo.com The past few years I have also been providing imagery in the form of characters towards a variety of initiatives including: The RSPB (UK) Vancouver Siigraph (images of the latest festival here: http://vansigphotos.wordpress.com/) BooKoo energy drink can designs (US) Oatheads Cereals (US) due for launch in 2010 as well as marketing myself by sending out postcards and posters printed on an amazing Epson PX-5800 inkjet which manages to recreate the colours I see on screen in RGB, using 9 inks! It is now great to have the opportunity to reach out to the imagerevolver audience and look forward to hearing your reactions to my images and hope you would like one or two for your personal space! Thank you for reading this!
